The Light Psalm 119:105

My dad told my mom last night to turn off the Light.

And out of frustration I said, “No! I am using the Light. I am reading.”

I was reading the bible.

Right there I realized what I was saying, indeed the Word is the Light.

And I need it desperately.

I don’t have a choice. It’s my daily food, medicine, and comfort.

The Word of God is Light.

  1. The word changes you. When you reach a more difficult path, trust in the Lord to bring you through it. You may have to pray and fast to get through it. People watch, and if they don’t see the Lord on you, then you will have to pray more, and continue to humble yourself before Him. I give you this as advice. You enemy is not the person you speak with. It is the devil, or self that speaks through someone. Tests the spirit to see if it is of God. Gentleness, love, and kindness are the fruit of the Holy Spirit. Be careful to walk in His Presence, even with your family and close friends. Trust in the Lord with all your heart and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your path. Humility is yielding to the Holy Spirit.
